As of August 12, 2026, Ukraine has exported 2.952 million tons of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of the 2026/27 marketing year (MY, July-June), which is 4.8% more than it supplied abroad by the same date last year, when this figure was 2.818 million tons.
As reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, citing data from the State Customs Service (SCS), total exports of grain, leguminous crops, and flour reached 2.955 million tons compared to 2.826 million tons on the same date a year ago, an increase of 4.6%.
By crop, wheat exports decreased by 18.3% to 1.239 million tons from 1.517 million tons, respectively. Specifically, in August of this year, 175 thousand tons of wheat were exported compared to 759 thousand tons last year.
Barley exports decreased by 28.1% to 333 thousand tons from 463 thousand tons; specifically, 37 thousand tons of this product were supplied abroad in August compared to 206 thousand tons in August 2025.
Corn exports as of the reporting date of the season increased by 66.4% to 1.376 million tons from 827 thousand tons last year. In August, 68 thousand tons of corn were supplied to other countries compared to 184 thousand tons in August of the previous year.
Rye, like last year, was not exported.
Flour exports since the beginning of the 2026/27 MY decreased by 54.1% and amounted to 2.8 thousand tons. On the same date last marketing year, it was 6.1 thousand tons. In grain equivalent, flour exports amounted to 3.7 thousand tons compared to 8.1 thousand tons a year earlier.
