Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived for a discussion with King Charles III following the conclusion of the Ukraine summit in London, as reported by the BBC.
The encounter occurred at the royal estate of Sandringham in Norfolk. Local residents, some brandishing Ukrainian flags, assembled outside the property to witness the arrival of the Ukrainian leader.
According to correspondent Alex Dunlop, many in attendance were unaware of Zelensky's visit. Nevertheless, two local Ukrainian women, who came waving the Ukrainian flag, expressed their immense joy that the president had come to meet the King of the United Kingdom at his private royal estate. The Guardian notes that Zelensky arrived at Sandringham via military helicopter.
Sky News, referencing Buckingham Palace, states that “the president was received very warmly, and the meeting lasted just under an hour.”
