The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has welcomed his ninth child. His wife, Carrie, 37, who had kept her pregnancy private, revealed the arrival of their daughter. She posted the initial images of the infant on her social media accounts.
“Welcome to the world, Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson, born May 21. Also known as Pops, Pop Tart,” the new mother shared, using a nickname for her baby girl. “I can hardly believe how lovely and small you are. I feel an immense joy. We are all utterly enchanted. I doubt I've managed to sleep a wink since your arrival because I can't get enough of how incredibly precious you are.”
Johnson's wife expressed her gratitude to the healthcare team at University College London Hospital, where she delivered. She also shared how her older children with Boris welcomed their new sister: 5-year-old Wilfred, 3-year-old Romy, and Frank, who will celebrate his 2nd birthday in July.

“Wilf, Romy, and Frank are absolutely delighted, especially Romy, who really wished for a little sister. Let's get matching dresses here. The final member of the crew,” Johnson wrote.
